Drama is a historical mediator between the audience and history, as history is recorded through it with everything that it contains of topics, problems and issues, especially as it derives its issues from social reality and a phenomenon that is inseparable from the lived reality and the conditions in which societies live. Drama is an art that affects its change and it was considered an important link between the old and the living in the lives of peoples in terms of mentioning it to restrict and pass in order to gain experience to develop solutions to contemporary problems that may be similar to the past. Study problem: The problem of the current study crystallized in identifying the historical role of drama, as the researcher believes that drama plays an important role in shaping public opinion about various social issues, as it is one of the most attractive tributaries of the media, and the permanent relationship between drama and public opinion is dialectical in the sense that it is a relationship of influence. And mutual influence and the researcher tried to answer several questions, including: 1. What role does drama play in recording Egyptian history? 2. How credible is the historical TV drama in its content of Egyptian history during this period? 3. What is the main purpose of the historical series? The framework of the study: The theory of media frameworks The Egyptian is one of the most important media theories, which is the theory of victory, framing. It can be understood why the case was exposed if circumstances change, and it is the evil of circumstances that generate a message. The quantitative approach. Study methodology: Study population: A sample of the series that drew up the reign of Khedive Ismail from (1863-1879).
