Abstract
The sun is a source for free energy to the earth and this energy is called solar energy. This energy can be used to generate electricity [1]. This solar energy can satisfy our energy needs but its exploitation is still negligible [2]. In general, the uses of solar energy in technology can be classified into two groups: (i) solar thermal technology and (ii) photovoltaic technology [3-4]. The solar thermal technology is depending on using the thermal energy in domestic and commercial applications such as drying, heating, cooling, cooking, etc. [1],[5].
