Abstract Cancer is a one of the main causes of mortality worldwide in humans with growing numbers by the years. Breast cancer is considered to be one of the most prevalent malignancies among women, representing approximately 30% of recently diagnosed cancers every year. Breast cancer is triggered by cross-talk between hormonal and cellular signaling pathways. An urgent necessity for more specific, more efficient and less toxic targeted therapies to reduce the adverse side effects of the drugs during the cancer therapy process. |
