Abstract
The work in this thesis presents new analytical methods for
determination of some anthelmintic veterinary drugs In
pharmaceutical dosage forms
This thesis comprises foli’r parts
Part I containing pharmacological overview and literature review of studied
drugs. Part 11 includes four High performance liquid chromatography (HPLC)
methods for simultaneous determination of four drug mixtures namely;
Triclabendazole and Moxidectin, Closantel and Ivermectin, Clorsulon and
Ivermectin and Nitroxynil, Clorsulon and Ivermectin in ternary mixture.
Part III describes four High performance thin layer chromatography (HPTLC)
methods for determination ofthe mentioned drug mixtures.
Part IV involves three spectrophotometric methods for determination of the
three described binary mixtures.
All the developed methods were validated and statistically compared to official
methods of the intended drugs.
