In light of the current trend toward ie minimally invasive treatment approaches computer guided implant Placement has received much aeceptance among clinicians. Similarly, the ability of LLLT to enhance osseointegration is intensively studied, as there is a plethora of studies supporting its beneficial effect on bone healing, Therefore, this study aims to compare clinically and radiographically between two and four short implants supported mandibular overdenture and evaluate the effectiveness of LLLT on short implants stability and success, In the present study, 12 edentulous patients were randomly allocated into two groups. group I: Patients received two short implant retained mandibular overdenture and positioner attachments (n=6). group I: Patients received four short implant assisted mandibular overdenture and positioner attachments (n=6). Short implants _ were inserted by stereolithographic surgical guide. Patients received five LLLT sessions immediately after surgery and every 48 hours. In a split mouth design each group was further divided into 2 subgroups A and By both received LLLT by a semi-conductor diode laser with wavelength of 660 nm. |
