Abstract

The effect of replacing maize with graded levels of indomie waste meal (IWM) in broiler diets was studied using a total of 120 broiler chicks. In this study, broiler chickens were divided into six groups, each of which comprised 20 birds. Each group had five replicates, each with four birds, and they were fed isocaloric and isonitrogenous diets. Throughout the trial, the animals were given unlimited amounts of food and water. The feeding time was divided into three sections during the six-week experiment:
1) Starter stage: from 0-10 days in which the bird fed diet containing CP 22% and ME 2975 kcal/kg diet.
2) Grower stage: from 11-24 days in which the bird fed diet containing CP 20% and ME 3025 kcal/kg diet.
3) Finisher stage: from 25-42 days in which the bird fed diet containing CP 18% and ME 3100 kcal/kg diet.
