Abstract
.Non-parametric statistical tests are useful for evaluating some treatment
strategies by looking at the living time of the observed survival data. The
failure behavior analysis of the survival data set will have either an increasing
failure rate (IFR), a constant failure rate (exponential case) or a decreasing
failure rate (DFR). The exponential distribution has two main features:
(i) The constant failure rate property.
(ii) The memory-less property.
