Abstract SUMMARY Congenital Ear deformity is a very common problem with an incidence of 5% in population. Over 500 techniques have been described for the surgical correction of Constricted Ear, Prominent Ear and Stahl’s Ear suggesting that no single “best” technique exists and that techniques and modifications will continue to evolve. In our study we discussed 3 well known congenital ear deformities (Constricted Ear, Prominent Ear and Stahl’s Ear ) on 20 patients. We followed up the patients and compared the results with those mentioned in the literature. The results were highly satisfactory to the patients and parents and also to the surgeon in all techniques we used also symmetry was very pleasant to patients , parents and surgeons with minimal complications. |
