Abstract

This research is concerned with developing an environmental material for Radiation protection applications. Different concentration of Micro sizeEAF slag (0, 20, 40, 60, 80, 100, 500 and 800 phr) and 800 phr in Nano size as filler in natural rubber (NR) matrix. Prepared EAF/NR composites were investigated for gamma rays attenuation. EAF nano particles preparation by using high-energy ball milling technique in the presence of Ethanol as process control agent.
