 Introduction to the study
The need for literature appears as a defensive means by peoples to preserve culture and heritage, especially with the development of the times and the increase in its variables and with economic openness and the subsequent cultural openness. desired.
Children’s literature was and still is a means for peoples and nations in transmitting values and positive trends, and expressing childhood issues, especially those with special needs, whether health, educational, economic or social. Thus, he plays an educational role that is in no way less than the role of educational institutions in all their forms; Sometimes it even surpasses it in presenting an implicit message that reaches and affects the child more than some educational institutions.
Considering the interests of children’s literature, especially the story of the child, the researcher believes that it contributed to presenting many educational issues for people with special needs of all kinds; Which contributed to the formation of the cultural awareness of the child, who among us was not affected by the writings of Abdel Tawab Youssef, or Yaqoub Sharoni, or Kamel Al-Kilani, and not only that, but also achieved a wide base of readers and viewers if the child’s story was transformed into a television drama or an animated movie.
 the study Problem
It is clear from the foregoing that children’s literature is inseparable from society, as it suffers from special issues, educational issues for people with special needs, and that the story is the closest type of child literature to the recipient and the most influential in his inclinations and trends. Educational for people with special needs?

1. What is the intellectual framework of children’s literature and its educational dimensions?
2. What is the role of the story of the child with special needs in his social upbringing?
3. What is the philosophical framework for people with special needs?
4. What are the most important educational issues for people with special needs?
5. What is the reality of educational issues for people with special needs in children’s literature?
6. What are the most important recommendations for benefiting from the literature of children with special needs in supporting their educational issues?
 Study objectives :
1. Recognize the intellectual framework of children’s literature and its educational dimensions.
2. Recognize the role of the story of the child with special needs in his social upbringing.
3. Reaching the philosophical framework for people with special needs.
4. Clarify the most important educational issues for people with special needs.
5. Revealing the reality of issues of people with special educational needs in the story of the child.
6. Benefiting from the story of a child with special needs in supporting educational work.
7. Directing children’s literature writers to the most important educational issues for people with special needs so that they take care of them in their writings.
8. Develop a set of recommendations towards some educational issues for people with special needs and different types of disabilities.
• The importance of the study :
1. The lack of Arabic studies on issues of people with special needs in children’s literature, to the knowledge of the researcher.
2. Its attempt to enrich research and educational studies with a study that combines the two fields of children’s literature and issues of people with special needs.
3. Presentation of the most important philosophies that dealt with educational issues for people with special needs.
4. Shedding light on some issues of people with special educational needs in society as a step towards solving them.
5. Presenting the intellectual framework of children’s literature, and the story of a child with special needs, to assist educational researchers when studying it.
6. The study highlights the important aspects of children’s literature and story, and their importance in shaping the child’s cognitive and cultural awareness.
7. The study shows the strengths and weaknesses of the child’s story regarding educational issues for people with special needs, and the different types of disabilities.
8. This study shows the contribution of the child’s story to solving educational issues for people with special needs.
9. Presenting a study on educational issues for people with special needs for children’s literature writers to help them when writing for them or about them.
• Study method and tools :
from the point of view of the study’s goal, which is to identify educational issues for people with special needs in children’s literature and the possibility of benefiting from them; The study used the descriptive approach as the content analysis method.
This is done through the following methodological and procedural steps:
1. to wipe and analysis literature related subject studying which Located in a Its scope is to extrapolate children’s literature and issues of people with special needs.
2. Using the content analysis form as a tool to collect Data on educational issues for people with special needs in children’s literature and the possibility of benefiting from them by analyzing a number of children’s stories.
3. Perform analysis statistician and descriptive for data and information Which Complete get on her from during Study tool application, get On consequences studying.
4. Submit Study results and recommendations And its proposals to direct children’s literature writers to the most important educational issues for people with special needs so that they can take care of them in their writings.
The limits of the study
The study was confined to some educational issues (educational - social - health - economic - religious - political) for people with special needs (physical - sensory - mental - developmental) in children’s literature (children’s stories) in a sample of (74) stories( ).
 Study terms :
- Procedural definition of people with special needs: Those who suffer from weak physical, sensory, mental, or developmental abilities; As a consequence, they need some kind of services and care to enable them to achieve the maximum of their abilities.
- The procedural definition of educational issues for people with special needs: they are all educational issues about issues of people with special needs and their special needs in the child’s story.
- Procedural definition of children’s literature: those writings written specifically for children in light of their needs, developmental characteristics and level.
 Study results :
1. The production of stories for children with special needs and about them has increased significantly in the recent period, due to the global trends to adopt their issues .
2. The stories of the children of the study sample were mostly realistic and dealt with most issues of people with special needs .
3. The total educational issues for people with special needs in the study sample of children’s stories amounted to (2056) issues .
4. The educational issues for people with special needs in the study sample varied from children’s stories, and they included ( educational , social, health, economic, religious , and political ).
5. There is a clear overlap between educational issues, each issue causing another. Political or educational issues cause other economic issues, which in turn cause the emergence and increase of social, health, educational and political issues, and so on .
6. The sample stories interest in issues ( educational , social, health , economic ) for people with special needs, respectively .
7. The sample’s low interest in issues ( religious and political ) for people with special needs, respectively, despite its spread in society and its negative effects on it .
8. The focus of the children’s stories of the study sample on presenting educational issues in more than one issue; Educational issues ranked first among educational issues, amounting to 49.80% of all educational issues due to their importance and impact on society as a whole .
9. The sample stories concerned social issues with people with special needs; As it ranked second in educational issues, its percentage was 32.92% ; where educational and social issues are prevalent in society , and they affect each other .
10. Health issues for people with special needs ranked third in educational issues in the child’s story; Its percentage reached 9.24% ; where the health of the individual and the degree of his disability affect his education, his economic level , his ability to integrate into society , his ability to work and political participation .
11. Economic issues for people with special needs ranked fourth, with a rate of 6.66% ; The more the issues of people with special economic needs increase, the more the rest of the issues necessarily increase with them due to their strong and direct impact on all members of society , people with special needs and their families in particular .
12. Despite the interest of the heavenly religions with people with special needs, especially the Islamic religion and the christian religion , and their tendency to ease any burdens on them , and adopt their causes; However, we find that the sample did not focus on the issue of the mosque’s attitudes towards people with special needs as it should; where it reached 0.92%, which is less than average, indicating the low interest of the study sample in this issue .
13. Political issues for people with special needs are ranked sixth and last. Its percentage was 0.43% ; This is due to the development of legislation and laws’ interest in addressing the political issues of people with special needs than it used to be .
14. The focus of the children’s stories of the study sample on physical disabilities; It came in the first place with a percentage of 45.23% of the total disabilities in the stories of the study sample; Physical disabilities, some of which are caused by heredity like other disabilities , in addition to accidents, wars, acts of violence and riots that many children are exposed to as a result of wars, terrorism and traffic accidents .
15. The focus of the children’s stories of the study sample on sensory disabilities; It ranked second in the frequency of disabilities in the stories of the study sample; Its percentage amounted to 34.52% of the total disabilities in the stories of the study sample; This is due to the strong impact of sensory disabilities on children with special needs; It is difficult with it to educate, integrate and rehabilitate them , and many issues hinder their acceptance and social integration .
16. Mental disabilities ranked third in the frequency of disabilities in the stories of the study sample; Its rate was 13.11% of the total disabilities in the stories of the study sample; The low interest of the children’s story book in the study sample may be due to mental disability; Due to the different degree of mental disability for the disabled, among them there are those who can be taught and trained , and some of them are difficult to do with him , unlike the physical and sensory disability that preceded them in rank .
17. The developmental disabilities ranked fourth and last among the recurrences of disabilities in the stories of the study sample; It reached 7.14% of the total disabilities in the stories of the study sample; The low interest of the children’s story book in the study sample may be due to developmental disabilities; Its ambiguity for the general public, the difficulty of dealing with its owners , and its low prevalence in relation to other disabilities .
 Study recommendations :
a - Recommendations for activating the role of children’s literature towards educational issues for people with special needs in children’s literature :
1. The need for children’s literature to give sufficient attention to addressing educational issues for people with special needs (religious and political) because they have a significant impact on the individual’s behavior, spirit and conscience.
2. That children’s literature adopt clear visions and solutions to the issues of people with special educational needs based on scientific and educational studies.
3. The necessity for children’s literature to give sufficient attention to addressing the issue of preparing a teacher with special needs, despite the importance of the teacher’s role for them.
4. The need for children’s literature to pay sufficient attention to addressing the issue of civil society organizations’ contribution to adopting the issues of people with special needs, to urge civil society to participate in adopting their issues, and to participate in their upbringing and education, as they are not the responsibility of the state alone, but rather a joint responsibility between the state and society.
5. The necessity for children’s literature to pay attention to the problematic issue of the term, as the term is a result of society’s negative or positive attitudes towards them.
6. The need for children’s literature to pay attention to the issue of the media’s contribution to the issues of people with special needs, because the media plays a large and important role in changing society’s outlook and attitudes towards people with special needs, and accepting people with special needs in all aspects of life.
7. The need for children’s literature to pay attention to the issue of discrimination against girls with special needs so that they do not suffer discrimination twice because they are female and are disabled.
8. The need for children’s literature to pay attention to the issue of the low level of health services for people with special needs and to try to send health awareness messages to children.
9. The need for children’s literature to pay attention to the issue of exploitation of people with special needs.
10. The need for children’s literature to pay attention to the issue of the mosque’s attitudes towards people with special needs, as well as the issue of the church’s attitudes towards people with special needs.
b -Recommendations for activating the role of children’s literature to pay attention to all kinds of special needs :
1. Directing children’s literature book to pay attention to different types of disabilities, especially mental disabilities represented by mental retardation and Down syndrome, and developmental disabilities represented by the autism spectrum.
2. Directing publishing houses to convert children’s stories into Braille or stereoscopic method to help the blind, and translate them by referring to the deaf on websites for people with special needs, so that the study sample did not find any copy directed to them.
3. Rehabilitation of child writers and their awareness of the nature and types of people with special needs and ways to deal with them.
4. Working on transforming some stories of children with special needs into television dramas and animations so that those who cannot read can watch them, and translate them into sign language.
5. Providing support for children’s literature writers with special needs by providing specialized publishing houses and publishing facilities, and by making rewards and prizes for children’s literature writers with special needs, and for talented people with special needs.
c - Recommendations to activate the role of state institutions in adopting educational issues for people with special needs mentioned in children’s literature :
1. Emphasizing the role of the family by including laws that support its role within the special education legislation.
2. Developing programs for preparing special education teachers based on global developments.
3. It is necessary to pay attention to spreading the culture of inclusion for all members of society, and to include inclusion in all government schools.
4. Working on employing children’s literature and its forms in the service of the educational process; By supporting the curricula and linking them to the educational issues of society and people with special needs.
5. Determine appropriate diagnostic tools and methods to determine the type and level of disability, and develop prevention and early intervention programs to reduce disability .
6. It is necessary to establish centers for children with special needs that deal with the rehabilitation aspect, equipped with all the necessary medical devices and equipment, and to provide adequate financial support for these centers in order to develop their services towards children with special needs and make them active citizens in society.
7. Preparing courses to refine the concepts of inclusion for community members and know its importance and benefits.
8. Interest in spreading cultural, scientific, health, economic and political awareness through holding conferences and seminars on and with people with special needs.
9. Providing various educational means in the learning resource center for people with special needs in the integration schools.
10. The need to work on including the issues of children with special needs on the priorities of governments, in order to provide adequate protection for the rights of these children, and to provide an appropriate and comprehensive environment that contains the various qualified cadres and means to serve them.
