Abstract
There is no absolute indication for surgery over conservative management for depressed fracture over venous sinuses apart from
1/depressed on the equivalent area causing deficit
2/depression over middle third of superior saggital sinus causing manifestations of increase intracranial tension
>conservative and surgical nearly have the same morbidity and mortality but risk of infection is high in conservative treatmrnt
>fear of intraoperative sinus injury management is not a reality but it is almost an intraoperative cause that must taken seriously and carefully
