The current research aims to know the extent of the development of the Islamic education curriculum in light of the concepts of security in Islam to develop religious awareness among Iraqi university students.
The correctness and the authenticity of the following assumptions have been validated: There is a statistical indicative difference among the average scores recorded by the students of the experimental and control groups in the post application of the scale of awareness of security concepts in Islam as a total score for the sake of the experimental group. In addition, there is a statistical indicative difference among the average scores recorded by the students of the experimental and control groups in the post application of the scale of awareness of security concepts in Islam as sub-dimensions for the sake of the experimental group. Furthermore, there is a statistical indicative difference among the average scores recorded by the students of the experimental group in the pre- and post-applications of the scale of awareness of security concepts in Islam as a total score for the sake of the post-application. Finally, there is a statistical indicative difference among the average scores recorded by the students of the experimental group in the pre- and post-applications of the scale of awareness of security concepts in Islam as sub-dimensions for the sake of the post-application.
Towards the awareness measure in favor of the post test, we conclude from the realization of the hypotheses of this research the extent to which religious awareness can be achieved among students by developing the elements of the Islamic education curriculum in the light of standards like other educational subjects such as mathematics, science and other subjects, the results showed an improvement in awareness of some concepts of security In Islam among students, and this confirms the effectiveness of the two units that were taught in the light of the proposed scenario, the experimental group showed a greater improvement than the control group in the dimensional measurement after being exposed to the developed curriculum, which included various teaching methods in addition to the ability to use various educational activities, all of which helped the group Experimental study aims to increase improvement in religious awareness. The two units depend on the diversity of knowledge and information and the diversity of methods of presenting and teaching it to students With the students’ experiences, and this is what previous studies indicated, the selected concepts of security are (psychological - intellectual - religious - political – food).
