المستخلص The lower extremity and its integrity are considered essential components for straightening the body and for executing many sports motor skills. And the more people were exposed to knee joint injuries, the more this led to a change in the anatomical and morphological structure of the joint, and thus led to a change in the general shape of the body, and affected all the kinetic characteristics of the body. Treatment and rehabilitation are vitally important matters. Maintaining the muscles surrounding the knees, especially the front four-headed muscle, and working to maintain the full range of movement of the knee joint as much as possible. Thus, physical exercises and their programs are a cornerstone and one of the most important methods of rehabilitating these joints after injury, medical and physical therapy. The researcher made a set of anthropometric and morphological measurements for a group of athletes with knee joint injuries and noted that the cruciate ligament injury is the most frequent injury among athletes. It also found that there are differences between the measurements of muscle strength and range of motion of the affected limb and the healthy limb of the sample under investigation, which shows the effect of muscle strength negatively for the injured limb after rehabilitation, so there are differences in the morphological specifications and kinetic potential of the affected limb after completing the rehabilitation process in comparison to the healthy limb. research aims: Identifying the morphological specifications of the lower extremity after treatment and rehabilitation of the injury and comparing the morphological specifications and kinetic capabilities of the injured limb after treatment and rehabilitation of the healthy limb. Search procedures: The researcher used the descriptive experimental approach for thirty men affected by a physical therapy center during the period from November 2019 to August 2021, using a set of devices, the most important of which is the in body device. Conclusions: - Through the results reached by the researcher, and in light of the measurements that were made, it can be reached: - The cruciate ligament injury is the most frequent injury for athletes, and the injuries of the right lower extremity are higher than the number of injuries to the lower extremity, and those with less dense bones are more likely to be injured by cartilage of the knee. - It also found that the range of motion and muscle strength in the affected limb are less than the measurements in the healthy limb, which indicates the negative impact of the affected limb after the recovery process. Recommendations: In light of the results of the research and within the limits of the sample and guided by the conclusions, the researcher recommends the following: 1- Technicians of the rehabilitation program and its modification by comparing the anthropometric and morphological measurements before and after for each injured person. - Developing the rehabilitation programs used in knee joint injuries to suit the type of injury and the movement capabilities of each injured person. 3- Providing modern muscular strength and range of motion devices so that they can be used before and after the rehabilitation program. 4- Using anthropometric and morphological scales in evaluating the condition of each injured person to suggest the appropriate rehabilitation program for the condition of each patient and for each type of injury. |
