First - Introduction to the study problem:
Marriage is a divine system that brings the woman and the man together to live together and share together in the journey of life, both together, help him, nurture, preserve, preserve, preserve, his size, and his view of satiation. Family and family necessities, and to give her husband love and tenderness and share the burdens with him there may be differences in the family It is normal but as soon as the differences exceed 50% of the points of agreement and disagreement, the marriage becomes a problematic marriage, and the way of dealing with these problems differs from one family to another, and thus the nature of marital life in it varies. But if the relationship between the spouses is devoid of understanding and psychological closeness, the small problem escalates and grows and turns into a spark that can explode at any moment, threatening the house with danger.
Alienation is a problem of social origin and roots. Its psychological and behavioral symptoms appear in a person’s mismatch with his lived reality and with himself in a way that a person becomes alien to himself, his wife, and his reality, and loses contact with himself and his companion, and his mental health suffers.
Marital alienation causes the individual to lose contact with himself, his companion, and his vision of a happy life, and makes him look at the future in a negative pessimistic view, which reduces the level of his ambition, and loses the motivation to achieve and achieve future goals. The view of the future of marital life is unclear, which may lead to harming the surrounding community by spreading a negative view of marital life, resulting in incompatibility and harmony between the spouses.
The lack of marital compatibility and harmony between spouses is negatively reflected on the relationship of parents with their children and the methods of dealing with them, as this relationship represents the basic building blocks in the growth and development of the children’s personalities and in the manifestations of their mental, linguistic, social and emotional growth, and determining the methods of their adaptation to different life situations. Children suffer from psychological disorders
Therefore, the problem of the study was determined in (the relationship between marital alienation and methods of parental treatment of children)
Second: The importance of the study:

3- It seeks to uncover the problem of marital alienation and its relationship to parental care methods and determine the extent of its spread in Assiut Governorate, and then reach some proposed solutions to limit its spread and mitigate its effects.
4- The data of this study may be used to gain access to some field experiences that may contribute to enriching the knowledge aspect of the social service profession in general and individual service in particular.
5- The scarcity of studies and research within the limits of the researcher’s knowledge, who studied marital alienation in the Arab environment and in Egypt in particular. Hence the idea of the study came as an attempt to add theoretical theses and field results related to marital alienation and its relationship to parenting methods from the perspective of serving the individual.
Third: Objectives of the study:
This study aims to achieve a main objective, which is ”Determining the relationship between marital alienation and parental care methods for children.” Several sub-goals emerge from this main objective, namely

2- Determining the reasons that lead to marital alienation and their relationship to the methods of parental care.
3- Determining the effects of marital alienation and its impact on the methods of parental care for children.
4- Reaching proposals to reduce marital alienation and develop methods of parenting care from the perspective of marital therapy in the service of the individual.
Fourth: Study hypotheses:
This study seeks to answer the following main question:
There is a statistically significant relationship between marital alienation and parenting methods for children.
from this main hypothesis, several sub-hypotheses emerge:
1- There is a statistically significant relationship between marital alienation and parenting methods, which leads to its spread.
2- There is a statistically significant relationship between the causes that lead to marital alienation and parental care methods.
3- There is a statistically significant relationship between the effects of marital alienation and parental care methods.
4- There is a statistically significant relationship between the effect of marital alienation on parental care for children and family disintegration.
5- Attempting to develop the necessary proposals to reduce marital alienation and its impact on parental care methods from the perspective of marital therapy in the service of the individual.

Seventh: The results of the study in the light of the study hypotheses:
1- With regard to testing the validity of the first sub-hypothesis of the study: “There is a direct, statistically significant relationship between marital alienation and the method of cruelty and hesitation towards children:”
The results of the study proved the validity of the first sub-hypothesis of the study, which states that “there is a direct statistically significant relationship between marital alienation and the method of cruelty and hesitation towards children”, as there is a direct statistically significant relationship at the level of significance (0.01) between marital alienation and the method of cruelty and hesitation towards children. Also, marital alienation explains (46.1%) of the changes in the style of cruelty and hesitation towards children.
2- With regard to testing the validity of the second sub-hypothesis of the study: “There is a direct, statistically significant relationship between marital alienation and the method of excessive protection and pampering for children:”
The results of the study proved the validity of the second sub-hypothesis of the study, which states that “there is a direct statistically significant relationship between marital alienation and the method of excessive protection and pampering of children”, as there is a direct statistically significant relationship at the level of significance (0.01) between marital alienation and the method of excessive protection and pampering of children. Also, marital alienation explains (27.8%) of the changes in the method of excessive protection and pampering of children.
3- With regard to testing the validity of the third sub-hypothesis of the study: “There is a direct, statistically significant relationship between marital alienation and the style of ostracism and neglect of children:”
The results of the study proved the validity of the third sub-hypothesis of the study, which is that “there is a direct statistically significant relationship between marital alienation and the method of ostracism and neglect of children”, as there is a direct statistically significant relationship at the level of significance (0.01) between marital alienation and the method of ostracism and neglect.
4- With regard to testing the validity of the fourth sub-hypothesis of the study: “There is a direct, statistically significant relationship between marital alienation and the method of differentiation and preference among children:”
The results of the study proved the validity of the fourth sub-hypothesis of the study, which states that “there is a direct statistically significant relationship between marital alienation and the method of differentiation and preference among children”, as there is a direct statistically significant relationship at the level of significance (0.01) between marital alienation and the method of differentiation and preference among children. Also, marital alienation explains (35.3%) of the changes in the method of discrimination and preference among children.
5- With regard to testing the validity of the main hypothesis of the study: “there is a positive, statistically significant relationship between marital alienation and abnormal parental care methods for children.”
The results of the study proved the validity of the main hypothesis of the study that “there is a direct statistically significant relationship between marital alienation and abnormal parental care methods for children,” as there is a direct statistically significant relationship at a significant level (0.01) between marital alienation and abnormal parental care methods for children. Also, marital alienation explains (52.2%) of the changes in the abnormal methods of parental care for children.
