Every nurse was allowed to ask any question to clear any misunderstanding. visited fever hospital to collect the data in two days each week, for. The data were collected through about three months from the first of October 2020 to 30 December 2020, two day/week at official work time from 9Am: 12Pm.

The present study revealed the following main results:
•More than 56% of sample was males, more than half of them age ranged from 20 -29 years, .

Recommendation:
The following suggestions were made :
1.Educational guidelines, posters, and booklets about meningitis should be provided at each nursing station in the wards, and staff should be encouraged to use them. Encourage nurses to attend meningitis training sessions to keep up to date on the disease.
2. An educational programme for nurses can be established and constructed through the programme; an emphasis can be directed and oriented in the management of patients with meningitis, and all nursing staff who work in paediatric units should receive ongoing training.
3.Increase nurse’s knowledge and updated in pediatric unit in hospital to the current researches and guidelines by training course.
4- Evaluate the level of nurse knowledge in the field must be done on a regular basis to keep track of the nurses’ knowledge and practise.
