Abstract

Silver nanoparticles have many medical and industrial applications due to their outstanding physical, chemical and biological properties, but their toxic effects are alarming. Since the method of manufacture can affect the biological properties of these particles, interest in them has increased. In addition to physical and chemical methods, these particles can be manufactured using green chemistry, which is of great interest due to its environmental friendliness. Green chemistry uses reductants of bacterial or plant origin instead of hazardous chemicals, enhancing the chances of obtaining safer and less toxic particles.
Therefore, green chemistry was relied on for the biosynthesis of these particles at a low cost by using the aqueous extract of the hibiscus stem plant, with an evaluation of the toxicity of these particles, and their anti-cancer effect, in addition to the evaluation of their antibacterial activity against the antibiotics, after encapsulation of some antibiotics. vitality.
In general, this thesis included four main chapters in addition to the final summary, the English and Arabic abstract, and the list of references.
