Abstract

ecious presents for mankind. Water supports any kind of living which are considered the most important component in our life style. Water covers the most surface of the earth and water is distributed in various shapes which are waterways, streams, lakes, pools, oceans, seas, rivers, wells, boreholes and springs [1, 2]. Water is a multifaceted resource that used in transportation, hydroelectric power and home, as well as commercial usage [3]. It is one of the world’s most scarceresources, and one of the most demanded of all urban and rural services and it is vital for man’s activities, especially in the developing countries [4]. Water pollution represents a global problem, and one day a continuous assessment of water management policy is required. This threatens economic development, and the physical and environmental health of trillions of people. Water contamination is considered a cause of death and disease and about 14000 people are killed every day by water pollution [5, 6]. Water pollution issues face both developed and developing countries [7]. The quality of water is determined according to many factors such as vegetation, climate, soil, human activities, geology, flowing and ground water. Point sources of industry and municipalities constitute the greatest danger to water quality. While, nutrients, sediments, and hazardous pollutants are all examples of non-point source pollution [8].
