Abstract Background: Many randomized trials have demonstrated that breast cancer patients obtain survival benefits from adjuvant chemotherapy compared to patients who do not receive chemotherapy. Adjuvant chemotherapy decreases the risk of breast cancer morality by 30% to 40%.
