Abstract
This thesis has investigated the effects of electro thermal loading on the underground power cable at several types of soil and investigated the thermal analysis of underground cable at different environmental and operational conditions.it also investigated the effects of changing thermal resistivity of the soil, cable depth, distance between cables and laying configuration (Trefoil or flat) have significate effects on the current carrying capacity
