Abstract In this thesis the control structure for a three phase separator for oil production unit is examined. The purpose is to examine the control structure, and make the suggestion for how a control structure based on single loop control, can be designed to reject high disturbance occurring in the system. The second goal is to make a tuning method based on the process properties to prevent process shutdown that keeps the process running smooth. The following tools can be used to develop the control structure, PI-PD and PID-controllers, fuzzy logic controller and ANFIS (Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Controller) |
