Abstract Applications of nanomaterial based screen-printed electrochemical sensors for pharmaceutical analysis. Herein, the fabrication of novel disposable electrochemical sensors based on the application of cyclodextrins and crown ethers as molecular recognition elements in presence of different nanostructured carbon materials was described for the potentiometric determination of two pharmaceutical compounds namely ; Vardenafil HCl and Epinastine HCl. The fabricated sensors were fully characterized and successfully applied for the potentiometric determination of the studied drugs in their pharmaceutical formulation and biological fluids. Moreover, sensitive voltammetric analysis protocol for the determination butenafine HCl in pharmaceutical formulations in the presence of its degradation products was performed using different carbonaceous nanostructured working electrodes. The achieved high sensitivity and selectivity suggest the application of the proposed protocol for butenafine assay in the pharmaceutical formulation with high accuracy and efficiency |
