Abstract This study analyzes the difficulties of the translation from Arabic to Spanish en Radwa Ashour’s novel: Granada (Trilogy) 1995, translated by Maria Luz Comendador Perez in 2008. We will study how the translator could transmit the original language and culture to the receiving one, taking in consideration that the novel deals with the ”Moriscos” theme in Granada.
