Abstract
Orodispersible tablets (ODTs) are dosage forms which disperse rapidly in the mouthbefore being swallowed.This type of dosage form provides a convenient and easy way fortaking medication specially for patients suffering from dysphagia (difficulty in swallowing).Vinpocetine is a nootropic drug used for improving brain functions and cerebral blood flow. Providing vinpocetine in ODT formulation provides patients specially dysphagia patients with convenient way for taking their medication, and therefore imShimaaproving compliance.This thesis aims to formulate and evaluate orodispersible tablets of vinpocetine by different techniques,and the thesis also studies the pharmacokinetics of the orodispersible tablets compared to the conventional tablets.The thesis is divided into three chapters
