The research problem is evolved due to the existence of deficiencies in some mathematical concepts in a sample of first – level children, This deficiency may be due to insufficient training for using these concepts in addition to the use of traditional methods of for education which makes the child bored and lose the passion to learn what is new, So The research problem can be concluded in the following main question:
What is the effectiveness of a Program based on the Flipped Learning strategy in developing some mathematical concepts for kindergarten children?
This main question can be divided into the following sub-questions:
(1) What are the mathematical concepts that can taught for kindergarten children?
(2) What are the components of a program based on the Flipped Learning strategy in developing some mathematical concepts for kindergarten children?
(3) What is the effectiveness of a Program based on the Flipped Learning strategy in developing some mathematical concepts for kindergarten children?
Research Objectives:
The objectives of the research can be listed as follows:-
• Finding a list of mathematical concepts suitable for development for kindergarten children.
• Preparing a Program based on the Flipped Learning strategy in developing some mathematical concepts for kindergarten children.
• Recognizing the effectiveness of a Program based on the Flipped Learning strategy in developing some mathematical concepts for kindergarten children.
Research importance:
The research importance lies in achieving the following
- Spreading the culture of using the flipped learning strategy at the kindergarten level.
- Involve parents through the philosophy of flipped learning in the process of learning mathematical concepts for their children.
- Responding to the recommendations of many kindergarten research and studies that support the use of modern technology in kindergarten curricula.
- Presenting a vision for the use of flipped learning in the process of teaching the kindergarten child so that its spread and application in the child’s learning in general increases
- It is possible to benefit from the presented scenario for the use of flipped learning as well as research tools in the training programs for kindergarten teachers.
Research Limitations:
The Research limitions could be Presented as follows:
Engineering concepts (simple engineering concepts)
Concepts of topological relationships (open and closed - inside and outside - above and below - front and back - right and left)
Pre-number concepts (classification - arrangement)
Counting concepts (counting - number - meaning of number)
The concept of time (night – day)
The research group consists of (60) children from the first level of kindergarten children and their ages range from (4-5) years.
The research tools were applied to a sample of Kindergarten children of the National Special Education School affiliated to the Beni Suef Educational Administration - Beni Suef Governorate.
The Illustrated Mathematical Concepts Test - and the program based on the Flipped Learning Strategy in developing some mathematical concepts among kindergarten children, was applied during the time period from 10/26/2021 to 12/27/2021
Research Methodology:
The current research followed the experimental approach based on a quasi-experimental design, using the two groups with pre and post measurements, in line with the requirements of the nature of the research.
Research Variables:
The independent variable: is the program based on the flipped learning strategy
Dependent variable: Mathematical concepts
Research tools:
First: Processing material:
 List of mathematical concepts (prepared by the researcher).
 Mathematical concepts tests Illustrated (prepared by the researcher).
- Second: Measuring Tools:
 A program based on the flipped learning strategy in developing some mathematical concepts for kindergarten children (prepared by the researcher)
 Child and parent interaction guide with mathematical concepts videos (prepared by the researcher).
Research hypotheses:
To achieve the research objectives and to answer the research questions, the following hypotheses were developed:
 There is a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the children of the experimental and control group in the post-measurement of the Illustrated Mathematical Concepts Test in favor of the children of the experimental group.
Research steps:
 Review the previous studies and researches related to the current research Benefiting from them in the theoretical framework and building research tools
 Analyzing the mathematical concepts of kindergarten children and presenting them to the arbitrators to express their opinion.
 Preparing the processing material in the light of the flipped learning philosophy.
 Preparing measuring instruments and presenting them to the arbitrators.
 Conducting the exploratory experiment to calculate the validity and stability of the tools, and to know the difficulties and methods of application
 Choosing the two research groups, which were the children of the first level of kindergarten.
 Applying of the pre-test to the two research groups.
 the tribal tests to the experimental group.
 Therapeutic substance application.
 Applying post-tests to the experimental group.
 Monitoring the results and monitoring them statistically. The study confirms the validity of the hypotheses, then interprets and discusses these results.
 Presenting future offers and proposals in light of the results of the research.
Research results:
After discussing and presenting all aspects of the research, the research concluded that the program based on the Flipped learning strategy has a great eggect in developing some mathematical concepts for the kindergarten children.
