Abstract
A novel series of hybrid organic molecules containing 1,3,4-thiadiazine, thiosemicarbazone and hydrazone moieties were evaluated for their in vitro antiproliferative activity against two cell lines. Our results showed highest activity against breast cancer cell line .Our results showed that the most active compound 5b showed potential apoptotic effect by up-regulation of Bax, p53 and caspase-3 with down-regulation of Bcl-2, PI3K and mTOR. Compound 5b showed potential in vivo antitumor and antioxidant effects against EAC cells. Our results revealed that treatment with compound 5b showed promising chemotherapeutic agent. Histopathological investigation showed that compound 5b caused amelioration of liver and kidney tissues, and maybe had apparently no side effects.
