Abstract

This study aims to apply the Herzberg’s motivation theory on employees’ performance in the five stars hotels, and to determine the factors that motivate the employees to perform effectively and the priority of such motivating factors. The thesis contains five chapters, depending upon both the literature reviewed and the field study findings, the study recommended that the hotels should focus on the actual implementation of the performance evaluation and they have to link the rewards policy and promotions with the evaluation, the ministry of tourism should review employees situations, and the implementation of the effective control as well as making sure that all hotels apply the law of labor thoroughly
