Abstract Cervical radiculopathy is typically characterized as pain in the anatomic distribution of a single cervical nerve root. When surgical intervention is chosen, the posterior cervical foraminotomy and discectomy is a well-known traditional surgical technique with successful outcomes in patients with radicular pain due to laterally located herniated disc.
