The current research aimed to reveal the differences between healthy children and those with sickle cell anemia in some executive functions in the light of some demographic variables, which were represented in the following functions: abstraction, inappropriate response, and planning, and the current research relied on the (comparative descriptive) approach. The research was conducted on two groups, where the first group was formed, which is the group The experimental number was (25) boys and girls (19) males, and (6) females, and their ages ranged from (5-6) years, in the pre-school stage, with an average age of (5.8) and a standard deviation of (2.5). , mean IQ score (104.4), standard deviation (14.6). The second group, which is the control group, consisted of: (25) boys and girls; (13) of males, and (12) of females, ranged The control group consisted of: (25) boys and girls; (13) males, and (12) females, their ages ranged from (5-6) years, in the pre-school stage, with an average age of (5.7), standard deviation (0.29), and average IQ score (110.8), and standard deviation (20.8). A set of tests were applied, represented in the following: the man and woman drawing test to measure intelligence, the Luxler Identical test to measure the ability to abstract, and the Labyrinths test of Porteus to measure the ability to plan And the Grested, Hogg, and Diamond test to measure the ability to stop the inappropriate response, and some statistical methods were used, one of the nonparametric methods represented by the Mann and Tney Kruskal-Wallis Test was used to indicate the differences between the two research groups, and parametric methods were used, represented by the (t) test. , as well as arithmetic averages and standard deviations, in order to verify the research hypotheses. The research concluded to verify all the hypotheses, where it was concluded that there are no statistically significant differences between the average scores of the two groups, normal and patients in the variables of gender, age and intelligence, and the results indicate that there are statistically significant differences between sick and normal children in the abstraction variable. And that there are statistically significant differences between sick children compared to Of normal children equivalent to them in mental and temporal age in the efficiency of performance of the ability to stop responding and its level as a component of the executive functions of the frontal frontal lobe, states that there are no statistically significant differences between sick children compared to normal children equivalent to them in mental and temporal age in the efficiency of performance of the ability to plan and its level as a component of the executive functions of the frontal frontal lobe. Also, there are statistically significant differences in gender in favor of females in some executive functions, which is the ability to Abstraction, planning, and cessation of inappropriate response, and there are no statistically significant differences between children enrolled in nursery school and those not enrolled in the ability to plan, and cessation of inappropriate response, and abstraction, and also there are no fundamental differences in the qualifications of parents and also the role of parents on sick childrenAnd there are no differences between sick children in the severity of the disease in the ability to plan, abstract, and stop inappropriate response.
