Abstract

The nitrogen compounds are commonly found in most therapeutic agents. Azoles are active compounds have a broad spectrum of biological activity such as cytochrome P450 enzyme inhibitors and peptide analog inhibitors. Conazoles are the main ingredient to which azole is added to drugs such as Itraconazole, Fluconazole, Voriconazole, Ravuconazole etc. So, the crop protection is the major application of conazoles. They have tremendous impact on local and systemic fungal infections that are main problem in phytopathology.The presence of three nitrogen hetero-atoms in five-member ring system defines an interesting class of compounds. Concerning the position of nitrogen atoms in triazole moiety, there are two isomeric forms which are synthesized (1,2,3-triazole) and (1,2,4-triazole).
