Abstract There is new study showing that successful medication regimens for inducing abortion are less expensive, safer, and less time-consuming than other methods, such as vacuum aspiration. No side effects or abdominal pain were experienced by patients who were prescribed letrozole in the second trimester for the treatment of non-viable foetuses, and the efficacy of misoprostol was increased. Researchers in Obstetrics & Gynecology have found a way to increase the success rate of obesity-induced abortions without raising the risk of complications. Professionals and patients may choose another therapy option if letrozole is unavailable or prohibitively expensive. It may be necessary to conduct considerable study on a wide range of dosages and time periods to find the most effective treatment plan with the fewest side effects. RECUMMENDATIONS Based on current findings comparing synergistic effects of methotrexate and letrozole before misprostol in the initiation of first-trimester missed abortion, we recommend further studies with larger samples using various dosages and longer periods to find the best treatment protocol with a higher success rate and lower side-effect rates, as well as the best treatment protocol with the best success rate and lowest side-effect rates. |
