Abstract Field experiment was carried out at private farm of El-Qasr village in El-Dakhla Oasis, New Valley Governorate, Egypt during 2016/2017-2018. The main objectives of this study are evaluating the best sowing methods and rates in addition the suitable nitrogen application rates to reach the maximum wheat (Beni-suif 1) productivity under the environmental condition of the New Valley Governorate. The experiments were laid out in split-split plot design in three replicates. The main plots were assigned for sowing methods, meanwhile, sub plots were assigned for sowing seed rate and sub-sub plots were assigned for nitrogen fertilizer rates. Treatments included: Factor main plot (A): containing 4 Sowing Methods: 1.Broadcasting (control) (M1). 2. Planting at 10 cm row spacing(M2). 3. Planting at 15 cm row spacing (M3). 4. Planting at 20 cm row spacing (M4). |
