Abstract
In accordance with the Data Protection Act, we ask you to sign the following declaration. We also need to know your name and institutional ID because it will help us in data analysis and correlating findings. You can be confident that the information we collect from you will be used only for the purposes of research, and that no student will be identified in any report of our findings. Your individual responses will be kept confidential to the research team; they will not be released to your University or to anyone else.
Any fellow can refuse to participate in the study with/without showing the reasons or withdraw from the study without any effect on his/her study or results.

The Medical Education Department is conducting a joint research about the interactions between personal characteristics of medical students, self-regulating learning and academic achievement.
Your opinions and perceptions are critical for obtaining valid results from this study. These results will feedback into the postgraduate program at MED-SCU like
• Understanding the conceptions of learning of distance education can help learners in adopting certain SRL strategies which can improve their academic achievement.
• Training of learners in distance learning programs by introducing courses on SRL skills can improve their academic achievement.
