Abstract

This investigation was carried out in El-Dakhala Oasis (Kharb El
Mahoub), New Valley Governorate; Egypt (latitude 25° and longitude 29°)
fieldwork of this study was conducted during 2019, 2020 and 2021. This
study included three experiments. Ten Barhy date palms were selected for
the first experiment, and twenty healthy Sewy palms of the same age and in
the full production stage were selected for the completion of these
experiments.
All selected palm trees received the same common horticultural
practices that are normally applied in the orchard, except for the different
treatments tested during the three seasons studied. The laboratory work of
this study was conducted in the pomology department faculty of
agriculture, New Valley University, Egypt
