Abstract The present investigation was carried out during the two seasons of 2017 and 2018 at Abees Experimental Farm of the Faculty of Agriculture (Saba Basha), Alexandria University to study the effect of some mineral fertilizers, amino acids and active dry yeast on the growth and production of moringa plants. The experiment was designed as completely randomized block design as follows: 1. 100% NPK) Control) [recommended dose] 2. 100% NPK + 3 g active dry yeast 3. 100% NPK + 250ppm AA1(tryptophan) 4. 100% NPK + 250ppm AA2(glutamic) 5. 100% NPK + 250ppm AA1(tryptophan)+ 250ppm AA2(glutamic)+ 3 g active dry yeast 6. 75 % NPK+ 3 g active dry yeast 7. 75 % NPK+ 250ppm AA1(tryptophan) 8. 75 % NPK+ 250ppm AA2(glutamic) 9. 75% NPK+250ppmAA1(tryptophan)+ 250ppmAA2(glutamic)+ 3 g active dry yeast 10. 50% NPK+ 3 g active dry yeast 11. 50 %NPK+ 250ppmAA1(tryptophan) 12. 50 %NPK+ 250ppmAA2(glutamic) 13. 50%NPK+ 250ppmAA1(tryptophan)+ 250ppmAA2(glutamic)+ 3 g active dry yeast The obtained result could be summarized as follow: 5.1 Vegetative characters 5.1.1 Plant height (cm) The tallest plants of Moringa have taken place due to treatment that composed of 100% NPK+ 250 ppm AA1 + 250 ppm AA2 + 3 g ADY compared to the other treatments including the control treatment at the three growth stages during both seasons, respectively. |
