Damietta Governorate is one of the most promising tourist areas that qualifies to occupy a distinguished position on the world tourism map as a result of its enjoyment of tourist attractions, and its possession of many tourism elements, and by tracing the history of the governorate from ancient Egyptian times until the modern era, and the stage of discovering the effects of Damietta, and then getting to know the excavation work And excavations in Damietta, and then to clarify the mechanism of applying the archaeological heritage preservation project and the consequences of the preservation process, and this is done through applied and field studies in Damietta.The management of archaeological sites is considered one of the most important factors in the process of preserving heritage, and therefore the management of sites must be fully linked to the concepts and objectives related to the preservation process, so that this part of the management is effective and influential directly and significantly. .where the priority is arranged for the rehabilitation of archaeological sites within the research and study area, and the basic pillars of field studies were identified, represented in the selection of three examples of archaeological hills, and then the implementation of a project to preserve them, according to the foundations and criteria that were derived from applied studies and methods used in Local, regional and international experiences
