Abstract Architects seek to immortalize their buildings and defy change and danger. The COVID-19 pandemic is one of the infectious diseases that pose health challenges to office buildings. Office buildings are among the most affected by the pandemic due to the failure of their current design to cope with the current health crisis. The research reviews the best way to deal with health crises and mitigate their negative effects through architectural design. The research treats the COVID-19 pandemic as a case study of health crises directly threatening office buildings and the efficacy of their design.
