A total of (39) professional divers and (26) never dived control subjects were participated in the study. There were no differences in age and height of divers and control subjects. Divers previous exposure was registered by questionnaire (times, numbers and depths) through the last 10 years. Some of them suffers from cough and/or chest wheezes, some presented with obstructive and others with restrictive ventilatory defect post diving and after long term exposure. No single one needed recompression chamber however 5 of them had transient clinical manifestations of possibly DCS, in form of skin bends, middle ear and knees pains and transient dizzeness
