Abstract Background: Combination of ultrasonic with topical medications was previously used in the treatment of axillary hyper hidrosis with good results. Purpose: The current study was conducted to evaluate the effect of aluminium chloride phonopheresis on Axillary hyperhidrosis.Material & methods: Thirty patients with Axilllary hyperhidrosis attending Department of Dermatology at monofeyaTeaching Hospital were enrolled in this study; there were randomly divided into two groups A ,B .group (A): received Aluminium chloride phonopheresis therapy (Acp). Sessions were performed within average 3 sessions per week for 1 months. group (B): they received only medication twice daily for1months. Pre and post sweat out put mass was recorded. Result: There was greater improvement in patients treated with aluminium chloride phonopheresis than those treated with topical medications as evidence by sweat out put mass and HDSS Scale.Conclusions: from the finding of the current study we concluded that Aluminium chloride phonopheresis treatment has variable success in the treatment of Axillary hyper hidrosis, than other topical therapies |
