Abstract 81 subjects were used in the present study, divided into 3 groups uncontrolled diabetic subjects (G1),controlled diabetic subjects (G2)and healthy subjects (G3), served as control group. Results: Significant increase of Ang-1 in G1followed by G2 and thenG3 at p value=0.001. and significant increase of HbA1c in G1 compared with G2 and G3 at p value=0.001, significant increase of cholesterol and triglycerides and LDL-C in G1 compared with G2 And G3,insignificant decrease of HDL-C in G1,G2 and G3 respectively. insignificant increase of G1,G2and G3 respectively. Conclusion: Ang-1 can be used as anti-inflammatory protein in diabetic patients |
