Abstract

This study carried out through 2014-2016 years, and aimed to study effect of some creative methods micro grafting successful processing of citrus secions cultivars on some murcott tangor and valencia orange olend cv., important criteria of micro grafted plantlets. Seeds of Sour orange root stock and stem node of murcott tangor and valencia orange olend cv., a sterilized by commercial bleach (5.25% NaClO) at 10,20,30,40 and 50%for 20 minutes used to study effect of the exposure times with commercial bleach (5.25% NaClO). Six methods of micro grafting used; wire tie, metal needle, wax, aluminum foil support, paper fastener and plate of aluminium. Data recorded as morphological criteria (survival, shoot number, leaves number, grafted plant length, union zone thicknes and leaf area ) and chemicals evaluation (pigments, phenols, oxidized enzymes, and plant hormones). The best results were 20% commercial bleach (5.25% NaClO) for 20 minutes treatment for giving the lowest contamination (13.33% and 6.66 % for valencia orange olenda cv. and murcott tangor respectively), the lowest browning (6.66% for valencia orange olenda cv., and 20%of murcott tangor )and the highest survival (80% for valencia orange olenda cv., and 73.33% of murcott tangor ) as for the treatment of 30% commercial bleach (5.25% NaClO) for 24 minutes recorded the highest survival 76.67% and lowest contamination, browning 10.00% and 13.33% respectively., for sour orange
