Abstract The study aimed to to develop, validate and implement occupational safety practices guide lines and evaluate its effect on adherence of health team member’s safety practices in cardiac catheterization units. Design methodological and quasi-experimental designs were utilized in this study. Setting The study conducted at two cardiac catheterization units at university hospitals. Convenient sample of health members they were (23) members four physicians, two bachelor nurse, nine technical nurses and eight radiologists in cardiac catheterization unit. Four tools were used in this study for data collection 1-health team member awareness of occupational Health Hazards questionnaire, 2-Safety measures and practice observational check list 3-validation of developed safety practices guidelines and 4-program assessment questioner.
