Patients receiving PRF showed statistically significant decrease in VAS% at 3 months in comparison to before intervention (P-value <0.027). However,TRF group showed lower pain in comparison to PRF at 3 months (P-value<0.001). At 3 months follow up, opioid consumption was the lowest in the second group in comparison to the other 2 groups. In terms of quality of life QLQ-C30 Global health in TRF was the highest after 3 months, Mean±SD 51.08±9.51, in comparison to PRF and steroid group, Mean±SD 41.30±9.56 and 38.76±12.47 respectively(P-value<0.001). Conclusion:TRF showed better results in terms of pain relief, opioid consumption and quality of life. |
