Abstract The cerebellum is the largest part of the hind brain that lies in the posterior cranial fossa dorsal to the pons and the medulla separated from them by the fourth ventricle. It develops from the dorsolateral part of the metencephalon that appears at the end of the fifth week. (Macllary et al.,1984; William,1995). The use of ultrasonography has significantly improved the evaluation of fetal growth and development and has permitted prenatal diagnosis of a variety of congenital malformations. Since the last decades, ultrasound parameter {u2018}Transcerebellar diameter (TCD) is considered a more accurate and better predictor of gestational age in both normal and intrauterine growth retardation (IGUR) Julia et al., 2012; mourya et al.,2017 |
