Abstract This study was conducted to investigate the effect of radiofrequency and ultrasound cavitation on fatty liver in obese premenopausal women. This study carried out on thirty obese pre menopausal women with fatty liver. They were assigned into two equal groups(A and B). (group A) received multipolar radiofrequency and ultrasonic cavitation for 40 minutes per session, two times per week for 4 weeks, in addition to caloric restricted diet. (group B) followed caloric restricted diet only. All subject were assessed pre and post treatment through measuring body mass index, waist circumference , GOT and GPT levels and degree of fatty liver. The results of this study showed that there was a significant decrease in the BMI,WC, GOT and GPT levels within the group A and B post treatment compared with pre treatment. But there was no significant difference in fatty liver within both groups A and B post treatment compared with pretreatment. also there was a non significant difference in BMI, GOT, GPT levels and degree of fatty liver between both groups ( A & B ) pre and post treatment. There was a non statistical significant difference in Waist Circumference between both groups ( A & B ) pre treatment. while, there was a significant difference post treatment So , it could be concluded that combined US cavitation and radiofrequency and restricted diet plan improve body mass index, waist circumference, GOT and GPT levels only |
