Abstract

Recently, transition metal doped zinc oxide has been investigated due to its potential application in spintronic devices. In the present work, we proposed to investigate the structural, magnetic, and optical properties of ZnO doped with different transition metals. The treatment of the mentioned properties is divided into three groups as follows: In the first group, our target is to introduce a new era for improving the physics properties of Zn₀.₉₇TM₀.₀₃O ; (TM = Co, Mn, Fe, Ni) through the sol{u2013}gel method of preparation. characterization of the synthesized samples was investigated to study their morphologies, structural, optical, and magnetic properties which specify successful and more efficient dopant transition metals in zinc oxide. In the second group, pure and Co-doped ZnO nanoparticles were synthesized. The properties of the obtained single-phase hexagonal wurtzite structure were discussed. We aim to find the most suitable Co doping concentration to serve better in many applications. In the third group, the structural and optical properties of Co doped ZnO thin film (0.01 {u2264} X {u2264} 0.07) were investigated to obtain more applicable thin film
