Abstract Different methods for determination of certain drugs in laboratory mixtures and in pharmaceutical dosage forms have been applied in this thesis. These drugs are hydrochlorothiazide, bisoprolol fumarate, candesartan cilexetil, atenolol, amlodipine besylate, aspirin, paracetamol and omeprazole. chromatographic part includes the use of HPLC for simultaneous determination of hydrochlorothiazide, bisoprolol fumarate and candesartan cilexetil in laboratory mixture and in two different dosage forms, and, simultaneous determination of atenolol, aspirin and amlodipine besylate in presence of aspirin degradation product in laboratory prepared mixture and dosage form and simultaneous determination of aspirin, omeprazole and paracetamol in presence of aspirin degradation product in laboratory prepared mixture and in two different dosage form.Spectroscopic part includes the use of PCR, PLS and ANN chemometric techniques for simultaneous determination of atenolol, amlodipine and aspirin and simultaneous determination of hydrochlorothiazide and bisoprolol fumarate in presence of hydrochlorothiazide degradation product |
