Abstract ABSTRACT Mayada Sobhy Abdel-Sadek Nayel. Studies on yield, yield components, juice quality and chemical contents of three sugar beet varieties as affected by combinations of bacterial inoculation and inducing materials published master of Science in Agriculture Science, Department of Agronomy, Faculty of Agriculture, Benha University, 2022. Two field experiments were carried out at Ras–Sudr experimental station, Desert Research Center, Western Sinai Peninsula, Egypt during 2020/21 and 2021/22 growing seasons, to study the effect of six combinations of bacterial inoculation and inducing materials on yield and yield components as well as juice quality and chemical contents of three sugar beet varieties. The experimental design was a Randomized Complete Blok Design using a split-plot with three replicates. The three sugar beet varieties were allocated with main plots and six combinations of bacterial inoculation and inducing materials were randomly distributed in the sub plots. The area of sub-plot was 3.5mx3m= 10.5 m2 (1/400 fed). The results could be summarized as follow: planting Halawa or Melodia variety with the combination between bacterial inoculation and foliar application with proline treatment under saline soil conditions in Ras sedr region is recommended. Keywords: sugar beet, varieties, bacterial inoculation, inducing materials, Ras Sedr. |
