Abstract

The present study aimed to evaluate the diagnostic value of SSTR2A,MUC4 as well as EMA in meningiomas and also to asses expression of these markers in different grades of meningiomas. Histopathological examination was performed on hematoxylin and eosin sections for all cases and immunohistochemical analysis was performed on the paraffin blocks in order to determine SSTR2A, EMA and MUC4 reactivity. For every case the following data were fulfilled: age, sex, anatomical site and tumor size.
