Abstract Spinal anesthesia is a basic skill for anesthesia resident ,the study is aiming to determine the number of cases required for anesthesia residents to reach proficiency which is success rate 90% , the study was in al kasr alainy department of anesthesia ,15 residents were included and were under observation from day 1 in practice to 6 months , the result is the number of cases needed for each trainee to reach proficiency is 50 cases , all residents were included in the study have achieved the target . there is various factors affecting the learning curve for residents like the sharing theaters where the orthopedic and obstetric theaters played a golden role in the learning process of residents and the patients weight and age |
