Abstract
Many techniques for flexor tendon repair have been developed over years, in this study an ex-vivo mechanical evaluation of the tensile strength of the double modified Kessler and combined modified Kessler-modified Tsuge sutures were done on Achilles tendon from adult sheeps using a self-made machine. Study revealed that combining modified Kessler with modified Tsuge sutures gives the repair more strength
